Hochanda Afternoon

Have you got your cuppas and your feet up watching our lovely Nikky on Hochanda
I am here to share with you another of my samples
I havent made a weaved card in ages and half way through I realised why , it takes quite a while but I do love the effect, so that was my starting point
I them used Stamp Set ~ Small Beginnings
Stamped several times and heat embossed onto vellum
I then watercolour painted them from underneath and fussy cut them out
Popped a pearl in each one the pearls are from the Magic sparkle embellishment kit

I then finished off by using the lovely polkadoodles die Hello this is not on todays show although you can get from the store here, this really is a fantastic price for such a wonderful die that I use lots. I cut it out twice so I could get a shadow effect

Stampin' Unicorn on Hochanda

And yes I am back again to share another card, there will be another couple of posts from me this afternoon while the second show of the day airs at 2.00 on Hochanda
This time I have used the A4 topper kit snipping of bits and pieces . I also used a sheet from the 6x6 paper pack Butterfly Dreams and mounted onto Black cardstock. I have shaped the flowers so they pop of the card. I so love the A4 topper kit

Thank you for looking

Happy Tuesday ~ Post number 2

Busy, Busy , Busy are you tuned into Hochanda??
If your not you are missing all the lovely goodies and demo's
Today it's the turn of Stampin' Unicorn
This time I have decorated a shadow box frame

I ummed and arred whether to remove the white apperture but decided a nice paper from the 6 x 6 Fourni pack would work.  I stamped several flowers and leafs from the stamp sets Dotty about Flowers and Blossom These were embossed , then watercoloured. The Butterfly is from Daisy Friends Stamp set and was stamped, Embossed and layered up

I finished of using the scrabble tiles from Bits n Pieces 6x6 Paper pad, and popping on some Glossy accents

I hope you are liking my samples I really have had so much fun making them

I have made this card using the lush A4 toppers card, using also a sheet from the Fourni 6x6 paper pad as my backing
I have layered up the flowers and cut randomn bits out of the card

Happy Snowy Sunday, where has spring disappeared to??
For those that know me know I am a great lover of oxides, this was a little experiment.
A good friend of mine visited last week and she brought some of her lovely cards for me to see, On some she had used the normal distress inks on photo card.......Now this got my head whirling would Distress Oxides work? Out came my photo paper and the first inks that came out of  my box - now I normally would sit awhile to decide my colours but as this was an experiment I just went for it. Amazing results I loved it , but I took it one step further and on half removed the oxides
I hope you can see the difference on B where oxides were removed.....
I left it to one side but then decided I needed to decorate it - It was the perfect size for a postcard, So using various Stamps, Black Micron Pen, A few Sequins and some Sequin waste my postcard was made

I totally loved what came of an idea that may or may not have worked

I can see this becoming a regular make

Thank you so much for looking today
